HELMET Fill Bassist Slot
June 8, 2005HELMET have enlisted Jeremy Chatelain (ex-HANDSOME, JETS TO BRAZIL) to handle the bass duties during the band's current European tour. Chatelain fills the slot left vacant by the departure of Frank Bello, who has since gone on to rejoin the reunited classic lineup of ANTHRAX.
HELMET are continuing to tour in support of their new album, "Size Matters", which was released last October through Interscope Records. The CD was recorded by Ryan Boesch, Chris Holmes, and former NINE INCH NAILS keyboardist Charlie Clouser at Cello studios (formerly Western Recorders) in Hollywood as well as Charlie's personal studio, and was produced by mainman Page Hamilton, Clouser and Jay Baumgardner. Joining Hamilton in the reactivated seminal hard rock act are Traynor and former WHITE ZOMBIE/TESTAMENT drummer John Tempesta.
